Our expeditions take you to some of the most breathtaking marine ecosystems on the planet. We explore the vibrant coral reefs of Indonesia, swim among thousands of mobula rays in Baja California Sur, Mexico, and encounter the elusive thresher sharks of Malapascua in the Philippines. Our journeys also include Bonaire’s crystal-clear waters and the Maldives, where we dive with manta rays and unforgettable sharks.

We combine world-class scuba diving, snorkeling, and freediving with impactful marine conservation, partnering with local ocean nonprofit groups to protect and restore the marine ecosystems we visit, so these natural wonders can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Each year, Baja’s coastline comes alive with one of the ocean’s most breathtaking spectacles: the annual migration of thousands of mobula rays. Think acrobatic leaps, massive schools, and surreal snorkel sessions as they glide beneath the surface. But mobulas are just the beginning. We’ll have good chances to encounter orcas, dolphins, sea lions, sharks, and much more!

No scuba certification or prior experience experience needed. This trip is open to everyone!

Alor Dive Expedition

Alor is a hidden gem on Indonesia’s eastern edge, celebrated for its vibrant coral reefs, abundant marine life, and unique local culture. Each day, we’ll explore a variety of dive sites, from colorful reef systems teeming with fish to dramatic walls, caves, and volcanic sand slopes where warm bubbles rise straight from the seafloor.

Alor’s strong, nutrient-rich currents bring in large schools of fish and chances for pelagic animals, including hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks, mola mola, whale sharks and even blue whales. The region is also a paradise for muck divers, offering chances to find rhinopias, pygmy seahorses, frogfish, mandarinfish, and a wide variety of other rare and fascinating critters.

Komodo Liveaboard Expedition

Join us for an unforgettable week of diving in some of the most diverse and remote waters of Komodo National Park. In Central Komodo, we’ll dive with graceful manta rays gathering at secluded cleaning stations. Further south, cooler, nutrient-rich currents attract dense schools of fish and create a wilder, more dynamic underwater environment.

Dive sites range from soft-coral-covered walls and geothermal “hot rocks” full of life to sand and rubble habitats rich in macro subjects. Between dives, we’ll anchor at remote beaches set against volcanic landscapes and go ashore to see the Komodo dragons that give the park its name.

Our home for the week will be the Duyung Baru, a boutique liveaboard offering a comfortable and intimate way to experience this remarkable and remote region.

Malapascua Thresher Shark Expedition

Dive with one of the ocean’s most elusive predators: the thresher shark. Over 9 days at Evolution Dive Resort we’ll log 24 dives, including 10 dives with threshers at world-famous Kimud Shoal. Waking up at 4:30 a.m. has never been easier when you know you’ll be in the water with one of the ocean’s most spectacular sharks.

But it’s not just about threshers. Expect vibrant macro life, curious sea snakes, frogfish, nudibranchs, and more. We’ll dive Gato Island, a marine reserve known for its tunnel swim-throughs, reef sharks, and incredible biodiversity. We’ll visit Kalanggaman Island, famous for its dazzling sandbar and walls draped in sponges and corals. At Monad Shoal, we’ll drop onto wide plateaus with the chance to see tiger sharks. Add in dusk dives with mandarin fish, night dives, and muck dives close to the resort, and you’ll experience the full diversity that makes Malapascua one of the top dive destinations in the world.
